Sylvester Wielenga

Our Spring walking dinner will be prepared by Sylvester Wielenga and made up of locally and sustainably produced food. The dishes have been specially selected by chef René Pluijm, famous from his popular “Pluijm op Pad” programme on Dutch television (RTL4) last season. In that programme he introduced a wide variety of unusual, locally produced European dishes. Now he has done the same for you with food from the Hague area. On the link below you can follow the food to its origins.

René Pluijm

Highly impressive, subtle, not your ordinary buffet: indistinguishable from a good restaurant, taste explosion, optimum use of local products, a guided tour around The Hague and environs, unforgettable, local gastronomy translated into authentic tastes, best thing I’ve ever experienced in buffet form, love on a plate

Just a few of the key words I jotted down during the overwhelming tasting session provided by chef Sylvester for Xpectacolo.
Normally I write up a review on the basis of such key words but this time I think they speak for themselves!

I’ve had quite some experience of tasting sessions and can assure you that the food alone is reason enough to attend this event, which I would describe as a ‘serious pleasure’!

Enjoy!
